Booking Policy
1. Booking a Ride
Passengers may request a ride through the official DUDU Car Malaysia mobile application that is downloaded in Appstore/Playstore/Google store. A booking is confirmed only after DuDu Driver-Partner accepts the request and confirmation is shown in the application. All bookings are subject to driver availability and operational conditions. Estimated arrival times and fares are indicative and may vary.
2. Service Categories
DUDU Car offers multiple service tiers, including DUDU (Standard EV ride), RICH (Plus EV ride), and SUPER RICH (Premium EV ride). Availability and fares vary depending on service tier and location.
3. Pickup Requirements
Passengers must provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations, be present at the pickup point, and remain contactable. If the passenger does not arrive within the waiting period (5 minutes), the booking may be canceled and a cancellation fee (RM5) may apply.
4. Cancellation by Passenger
Passengers may cancel through the application. Cancellation fees may apply if the driver has accepted the booking, arrived at the pickup location, or waited beyond the complimentary waiting period. Excessive cancellations may result in account restrictions.
5. Cancellation by Driver or Company
A booking may be canceled due to passenger absence, inability to contact the passenger, safety concerns, vehicle issues, or operational limitations.
6. Prebook Rides
Prebook rides, where available, are subject to driver availability and cannot be guaranteed. DUDU Car may cancel prebook rides due to operational or safety reasons.
7. Fares and Payment
Fares are calculated based on distance, duration, service tier, tolls, and applicable fees. Payment must be made using approved methods available in the application.
8. Passenger Conduct
Passengers must behave respectfully and comply with all applicable laws. Misconduct, vehicle damage, or illegal activity may result in account suspension.
9. Service Availability
DUDU Car operates fully electric vehicles, and service availability may vary depending on driver availability, charging requirements, and operational conditions.
All DUDU Car Driver-Partners must comply with Malaysian e-hailing regulations, which include:
l Holding a valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) vocational licence
l Completing vehicle inspections where required
l Maintaining valid insurance coverage
l Meeting safety and compliance standards
Drivers may temporarily pause service while completing regulatory or vehicle compliance requirements. DUDU Car continues to support Driver-Partners through this process to maintain service availability.
10. Policy Updates
DUDU Car reserves the right to update this Booking Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on the official website and application.
